Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of Community Connect Pro ("CCP," "the Service") and applies to every account holder. It supplements our Terms of Service and SMS & Messaging Terms. Violating this AUP may result in warning, feature throttling, or account suspension as described below.
Lawful Use Only
You may use CCP only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Service to violate any local, state, or federal law, including but not limited to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM Act, and CTIA messaging guidelines.
Messaging Rules
If you use CCP to send text messages or emails to your contacts, you agree that:
- You have obtained valid, documented consent from every recipient before messaging them. You are responsible for proving that consent if asked.
- You will honor opt-out requests (STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or an equivalent request) immediately and will not message that contact again through the Service.
- You will not send content in any of the following prohibited categories, consistent with carrier and CTIA rules: Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco ("SHAFT"), along with illegal drugs, gambling, hate speech, harassment, deceptive or fraudulent content, and any content a carrier classifies as high-risk or restricted.
- You will not disguise or misrepresent the identity of the sender, and you will not use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages to purchased, scraped, or third-party contact lists.
CCP may monitor messaging patterns and content for compliance signals (complaint rates, opt-out rates, carrier filtering). We may suspend or throttle messaging on any account whose activity threatens the deliverability, carrier standing, or A2P registration of the platform as a whole, whether or not that activity violates the letter of this policy.
No Unauthorized Reselling
You may not resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to a third party outside your own business without our prior written authorization. This includes offering CCP's functionality as your own product or service to your clients without an approved reseller or agency agreement in place.
Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials confidential and not sharing your account with unauthorized users.
- Using reasonably strong, unique passwords and enabling any security features we make available (e.g., two-factor authentication).
- Notifying us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether authorized by you or not, except to the extent it results from our failure to secure the Service.
Other Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Service to:
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or other customers' use of it.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data not belonging to you.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the Service's underlying software except as permitted by law.
- Upload malicious code or content designed to damage or disable any system.
Enforcement
We address violations of this AUP proportionally:
- Warning. For a first or minor violation, we will notify you of the issue and the corrective action required.
- Throttling. For continued or higher-risk violations, we may limit messaging volume or disable specific features on your account while the issue is resolved.
- Suspension. For serious violations, repeated violations, or conduct that puts the platform's carrier standing or other customers at risk, we may suspend or terminate your account, with or without prior notice, depending on severity.
Where the violation creates immediate risk to the platform (for example, a spam complaint spike or carrier filtering trigger), we reserve the right to act at any step of this ladder without proceeding through the earlier steps first.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
